Literature Text
A chemical process, then my penis I hold,
To stray from the norm, you're forced to fold,
I am in year eight at high school,
I understand each relevant rule,
Students arrive to learn,
Heading towards a future burn,
To search a family tree,
Positive or negative reflections to be,
Following sport, a battle of power,
As a flock we approach the shower,
Clothes fall as eyes begin to look,
Someone is called gay and is placed on a hook,
Year nine arrives, taking centre stage,
I tend to make friends with people of a lower age,
My education continues, I begin to feel safer,
Most that I have leant is beyond paper,
To catch a ball, preform a dance,
Or understand movement within my pants,
The act of sex, instincts to follow,
STD's and the chance to become hollow,
Sexual attraction, girl or boy?
When it comes to sexual relief, what is your toy?
Books teach problem solving, an evolving light,
Fellow students teach insight, law determines wrong from right,
Midway through year ten,
Came the realisation from which I could not defend,
Following sport, a battle of power,
Came the insight that would surface every hour,
A chemical process, then my penis I hold,
A naked year seven boy, I feel both hot and cold.

Literature
Mother
You told me to not swear, yet you would swear at me daily You told me to not lie, yet you would lie to me everyday You told me that you loved me, yet I was a burden to you daily. You told me that I needed to be perfect, but what was perfection in your eyes? You told me that I failed you, but you failed me all my life You told me that you would protect me, but I needed protection from you You told me that I wasn't allowed to cry, but you were the one that made me cry You told me that you would help me, but I was the one always helping you Everyday the words still haunt me, but each day you told me to move on Everyday I can vision your anger, but each day I pretended it never really happened Everyday I hear your voice, but each day I tell myself what you have told me Everyday I needed your protection, but each day I reminded myself that I had to do this alone Mom, I still cant forget the things you have said and done, but each day i grow stronger Mom, apologies wont change a damn
Literature
Worthless
There is a certain struggle I face
Every single day
It is the challenge of trying to please you
To do things your way
I try to do my best and try my hardest
In everything I do
But it's hardly ever good enough
It's never enough for you
Even if it is 100%
Even when I do it how you asked
Even the times I do well
Even when everyone else approves
It is always done wrong
It is always my fault
As of all of my failures are out in the open
But my success is hidden in a dark vault
Literature
Nothing and Everything
I ain't got much for nobody,
I ain't got much of anything.
But I've got you, and that means a lot
Cos you're my everything.
